DownloadWe expertise in conducting Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA) to (1) identify, quantify and assess the risk due to operation of process plants, storage and handling of hazardous chemicals within the facility and to the public (2) suggest recommendations in order to reduce the risk to human life, assets, environment and business interruptions to as low as reasonably practicable. Software PHAST v8.9 & Safeti v8.9 with latest add on modules is being used by a well-trained and operational experienced team to carry out accurate consequence modelling and risk modelling respectively. Acceptability of the estimated risk will then be judged based upon standard criteria appropriate to the particular situation. Study report is used to understand the significance of existing control measures and to follow the measures continuously. Wherever possible, preventive and mitigative risk reduction measures are suggested to reduce the risk levels with focus on client requirements.

Safety Integrity Level (SIL) Identification - We provide specialized services that involve conducting a "SIL" (Safety Integrity Level) classification. This classification process helps establish a design that is suitable for its intended purpose, specifically for safety measures that involve instrumentation. The goal is to create measures that effectively reduce hazards in terms of safety, environmental impact, and economic losses. SIL determination is carried out to assign safety functions to protective layers, identify the necessary safety instrumented functions, and determine the appropriate safety integrity level for each of these functions.

Safety Requirement Specification - We specialize in providing Safety Requirement Specification services, which involve defining the safe condition of the process for each identified safety instrumented function. This includes determining the potential sources of demand and their frequency on the safety instrumented function, establishing proof-test intervals, specifying the required response time for the safety instrumented system to bring the process to a safe state, determining the safety integrity level and mode of operation (demand/continuous) for each safety instrumented function. Additionally, we describe the process measurements and their trip points within the safety instrumented system, outline requirements for energizing or de-energizing to trigger a trip, specify the procedure for resetting the safety instrumented system after a shutdown, and establish the maximum acceptable rate of spurious trips. These activities are conducted in accordance with the guidelines outlined in the IEC 61511 standard.
